Some politicians are not using their traditional 'vote for me' signs to help reduce plastic pollution.
One of those is Simon Hoare who is standing in the North Dorset Constituency as the Conservative Candidate. When asked on Twitter, he replied: "I took a conscious decision not to use the 180 plastic posters I’d have needed (the number we used in 2017) at this election. "If we are serious about reducing the harm mankind does to our planet we all need to make steps to change our behaviour."
